The Journey of Pange Ētū

Pange Ētū – Follow the Stars Home was born from my personal journey of healing and self-discovery, a path that led me to my true self—my home. The name Pange Ētū carries deep ancestral significance, passed down through generations from my tūpuna, whose wisdom and leadership continue to guide me today. Pange Ētū was gifted to my mother and my daughter.

My tūpuna, a woman of strength and vision, married a chief of Rarotonga and led our people across the seas, navigating by the stars to find their home in Rarotonga. For this, she was given the name Pange Ētū, Pange, meaning to support, brace, or bridge, and Ētū, meaning star. She was the guiding star that brought our people safely to their home, a place of connection and belonging. This space.

Pange Ētū, is built on that legacy. My hope is for it to be a place where people can reconnect with themselves their true home. Because when we feel at home within ourselves, we can strengthen our relationships, connect more deeply with others, and build bridges to our wider community. When we find our home, we find love, peace, and connection.

For 20 years, I have dedicated myself to serving both our indigenous people and the wider community within the health and wellness sector. As a trained counselor, I specialise in using indigenous models of hauora (well-being), guiding people through their personal healing journeys. My dream is to create a space where wellness and well-being can be achieved through a variety of healing practices rongo (traditional healing), talk therapy, and physical therapies like infrared saunas and red light therapy.
